12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker- Regular & Strong Brew Drip Coffee Machine

This coffeemaker has a lot of features without being too complicated. It’s programmable with a digital clock, it has a strong setting, and an iced coffee setting. The base will keep the pot warm for 2 hours after it brews a pot. I like the fact that it has a 1-4 cup setting since I don’t always brew a full pot. My favorite feature is the reuseable coffee filter. One thing I can’t stand is loading and unloading paper filters, and why buy them if you don’t need them? (A hint – use the used coffee grounds in your garden rather than throwing them away – your plants will appreciate it!) I guess the only thing I’m not crazy about is the boxy design. The stainless steel and black look good, but a little more attention to the design of the overall product would have been nice. Then again, this is at a pretty good price at the time of this review with two promotions, and even at the regular price it was competitive. The coffee of course tastes great with this drip system, but that’s because I use very clean water and good coffee – and I keep the coffee maker clean. That’s the case with any coffee maker. This machine has an automatic cleaning cycle as part of the features to help you take care of that.
