Official recall information for select Kooka Inc. / Beezwax products as directed by the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management.
Official Notice — Dear Customers
The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) informed us of an issue with some 2.5 gram disposable vape units that were seized during an inspection. Those units tested over the legal THC limit in Minnesota for LPH products, which is 0.03%. We believe this specific product was manufactured in 2024.
We have issued a recall for all 2.5 gram vape units due to the lack of traceability on packaging. Many were manufactured and packaged prior to newer OCM regulations requiring batching and sourcing information.
We have also voluntarily issued a recall for Beezwax 1 gram pre-rolls manufactured by Kooka Inc., as some batches are testing higher than 0.03%. These products are no longer manufactured by Kooka Inc.

What You Should Do
- 1 Stop using the recalled products immediately. Do not consume any 2.5g disposable vape units or Beezwax 1g pre-rolls from your inventory.
- 2 Return or dispose of the products safely. Contact us directly to arrange a return or receive guidance on safe disposal.

On March 2, 2026, Kooka LLC initiated a recall of all flavors of Beezwax brand disposable 2.5-gram vapes and Beezwax 1-gram hemp prerolls. View the recall notices from Kooka LLC here — vape recall notice and preroll recall notice.
According to the manufacturer, these products are mislabeled. They are labeled as “low dose” and carry the following label statement: “This product falls under the 2018 Farm Bill and contains <0.3% THC9.” Test results demonstrate that the products are not compliant with this labeling.
These vapes and prerolls contain high amounts of THC which is not disclosed on the label, and therefore pose a serious threat to the health of consumers. Consuming more THC than intended could lead to unexpected adverse health effects. Individuals with existing health conditions may be at a greater risk of experiencing adverse health effects. A consumer advisory notice was issued by OCM simultaneously with this order.
Action Steps
Your business must immediately stop the sale of all Beezwax brand disposable 2.5-gram vapes and 1-gram prerolls manufactured by Kooka LLC. These products must be disposed of in accordance with applicable waste disposal regulations and Minnesota law. Contact the manufacturer directly for refund information.
Failure to Comply
Failure to comply with this order may result in additional enforcement action by OCM. Additional enforcement action may include an administrative penalty of up to $10,000 per violation, or an amount that deprives the business of any economic advantage gained by the violation, or both, and/or referral to law enforcement for potential criminal violations.
