Bias Bar and Master Cylinder Upgrade Kit

Upgrade your late model (RF98 and newer) Van Diemen to the Tilton 78-series rear pivoting master cylinders. The Tilton 78-series master cylinders pivot on a spherical bearing and feature a one-piece pushrod and piston, eliminating side thrust in the bore and reducing brake hysteresis. All this makes for more consistent, repeatable, and predictable braking. Allows use of the Tilton 900-series balance bar which utilizes needle bearings in all pivot points, eliminating the friction found in the stock Van Diemen balance bar assembly. Brake pedal, mounting brackets, and reservoir adapters are beautifully CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Brake pedal pivots on a needle bearing for smooth, consistent movement. Reuse your current foot pad. Except for some possible clearancing of the front bulkhead, the kit is completely bolt-on. Brake pedal and reservoir adapter are anodized for corrosion resistance. This system has been tested for many seasons, and results include a podium finish at the 2012 National Championship Runoffs.   KIT A upgrades the master cylinders only and retains the stock Van Diemen brake pedal and bias bar. Kit B includes: Brake pedal All spacers, bearings, and hardware to install the new brake pedal and Tilton 900-series bias bar You supply: Tilton 900-series bias bar KIT C upgrades the master cylinders, the brake pedal, and the bias bar.
